Miriam Arensberg is a contemporary, folk artist living in Clarkston, Georgia.  She is a qualified visual arts and dance teacher with a degree from Bard College in New York and has worked as a teacher at the Friends School of Atlanta for over 20 years.

Through the years, Miriam has shared and sold her artwork at galleries, retail stores, restaurants, and festivals around Atlanta.  She has created commissioned artwork for the Carter Center, Fellowship of Reconciliation, and various families in Atlanta. Miriam is the mother of 4 children and is married to Tim Tschirhart.  She enjoys listening to podcasts, taking long walks, and painting when she is not teaching.
